sometimes i wish i have a love story to tell. like her. can't believe her luck.
twenny plus years of i-saw-my-crush-today doesn't cut anything; it's so juvenile and ridiculous. most kids my age are probably set on real wedding details or night outs with their significant others or taking care of babies. hah. like i would really know. the doldrum that is my life couldn't even start understanding why two people end up together.
and then i wonder: have i really ever been, truly, honest to goodness in love, in love?
far from me to be bitter and cynical but frankly, i am not liking the pace. that moment of truth, that long-awaited spark seems to take longer than normal to happen. sure, i have kilig moments, but they don't count. i mean, really now, a crush life at twenny? i must be a retard for missing out on all the fun of having a real SO. i am not looking forward to the heart aches, thankyouverymuch, but for that one butterfly-in-stomach feeling, i suppose i wouldn't mind. come on! don't you think i'm old enough to handle that?
times like this, i wish i were phlegmatic and not sanguine. phlegmatic girls seem to attract all the boys/men because of their serene demeanor while sanguine girls come off too strong or too intimidating or too loud and obnoxious. but oh, in all fairness, we're so much funnnn.
they say true love waits. if i heard it once, i have heard it a hundred times. and don't tell me he's just out there, wait patiently, your time will come, blah blah blah. while the world is spinning happily on that time i'm stuck to, let's say, the pre-historic. it's gonna take me eons and eons plus for that kind of lovin' to happen in my lifetime.
my story will have to wait. fine. don't hang on for that. let me, in the moment, just entertain you with story-telling. because that's all i have now. it won't start with once upon a time. come on, that's too sappy, donchu think?

Maybe God's just busy writing your love story. ^_^ Or something like that. Honestly, for the past few years I've been rushing things, praying that each guy I have a crush on will be God's guy for me. When things don't end up the way I want them to, I blame myself, which is not a good thing. What I'm trying to say is, much as we'd love to have that feeling, or that special person even, we have to wait. Waiting has its blessings, you'll see, Ate Xai. You are a beautiful person, maybe that's the reason why God isn't showing him to you yet. God doesn't want to match you up with someone who does not deserve you. He only wants the best for His dearest daughter Xai.
