after my exam at GMA (which i feel is an epic failure), ala and i headed home. it was raining and cabs were hard to come by so we shared one and ended up in my place. (that sounded sleazy)

anyway, she practiced smiling for the camera because her boyfriend (my future BFF, lol) thinks her smile is too funny. i told her to say 'a.' pwede na ba?

Pretend na lang that it's 2006 today. What's three years naman ba? *eeyuck konyor*
And anyway, it does feel like I'm graduating. It's my supposed last week at work, if you must know. Supposed because I'm extending until next week but just the same, transitions will take effect.

It took a long time before I absorbed the grown-upness of the past three years. Mostly because it's easier to deny the changes or sugarcoat nightmares. In my world... blah blah blah.

After all the drama and quarter-life in the making, I decide I'm going to be whoever time asks me to be. I can be Xai in 2006 or Xaris in 2009 and either way, they're both me.

So not the drama diba. Isn't it exciting how things are about to change and I'm just eagerly anticipating as the pages turn. Nakakakilig kaya. Right now, I feel like jumping and screaming and yeying and singing Best of Both Worlds at the top of my lungs.

Ewan ko na kung anong mangyayari pagkatapos nito. Gaya ng kiber din kung anong mangyayari after grad. I am certain of one thing though, that God has seen and knows what my future looks like even before I start imagining it. Kaya, chill lang.

Every other day, I'm scared because I don't know. On in-between days, I'm excited precisely because I don't know. Schitz in the making ba?

I've stopped defining things because I will redefine them someday and soon render everything meaningless. Ah basta. Jesus defines my meaning. Yan na lang muna. :)

spring cleaning in the summer

I have unsuccessfully cleaned my room/dungeon. The intention was to get rid of my brother's old things, not trash the whole room with it. While I tried to put all his books and college kalat away, I found that there was no place to stash them because the room he occupies now is a museum and there is no virtual way I can perform brick game tricks (you know, fit everything according to its shape). Now all his things are splayed on the floor and the desks and shelves are littered with my things. It's such a disaster, I wish I never started the deed.

And dear me, by some mystical compulsion, I also re-arranged the furniture and played feng shui only to disturb the harmony or whatever it is they want to achieve in the effort. Oh but it was a complete physical aerobic (haha) work-out, something I've been meaning to do but never got around to doing. It would have been alright, had it not been for the body aches the following day. I pulled too many unused muscles.

Some good came out of the experience, though. At least I got to move around, found things I thought were sucked into a black hole, and categorized the mess I would have to re-do next week.

Since I'm launching my DIY self, the wooden furniture and the sepia newspaper wallpaper in my room are perfect for the theme. All I have to do is find key items that will heighten the over-all tiangge effect I'm gearing for. I promise to take a picture once everything is settled.
